[approximate transcription] Mom, Orlena - meaning golden, May being the month she was born, but Klickie - the name she liked best. Mom was special! She set the bar hi, for herself & her family & she always do so with a smile. As Bill told you she was a great achiever. She loved entertaining and set a lovely table. But when she got married she couldn't cook much, which Dad's mom was concerned about. Dad replied, well she can read a cookbook! And she did!! One of her favorites at family holiday gatherings was always Jell-o salad open with nuts and strawberries! It was something she could prepare for things to do on her schedule, like playing bridge and weekly watercise at the Nwood lake pool. To mention all the travels she did with Dad around the world. She had a closet full of photo albums, one from each trip with each photo labelled on the back of where, when, and who. All in chronological order. After she retired Mom was once again in her helping mode. She volunteered at the Children's Hands On Museum, and at Hospice of West Alabama. She was there every Friday for over 40 years. She was an election poll worker with some of you here, even into her 90's. Also as a senior citizen she delivered meals on wheels.
